A. Gupta, MS P.E., Principal
Mr Gupta specializes in the convergence of seismic engineering, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies, delivering efficient, cost-effective, and high-performance structural systems tailored to clients’ needs. He’s dedicated to finding practical solutions by using his deep knowledge of building performance and staying up-to-date with the latest research.
Additionally, he plays a pivotal role in ACE’s operational and managerial functions, seamlessly integrating staff scheduling, workflow management, accounting, and information architecture. He fosters a culture of excellence in engineering practices by promoting continuous learning, devising and steering technical strategies, and setting high standards for graphical presentation. Moreover, he serves as an inspirational mentor to younger engineers, encouraging them to challenge conventional technical norms and think critically when tackling intricate functional problems.
S. Bharg, PhD, P.E., Principal
Meet Dr Bharg, our esteemed Principal who brings a wealth of experience in Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis, performance-based design, ANSYS modeling, fire analysis, blast analysis, and expertise in support of excavation and underground structures, Bharg is at the forefront of engineering innovation. Leading our team of engineers, he not only provides invaluable mentorship but also collaborates closely with clients to ensure their needs are met with precision and excellence.
P. Sreshth, MS P.E., Associate
Mr Sreshth prides himself on serving his clients as both a project director and a trusted resource who strives to achieve the project’s overall goals. A proponent of collaboration, he believes a structural solution should grow from an interdisciplinary effort to ensure that architectural aesthetics, constructability, and owner requests are all realized. These collaborative efforts are achieved through his strong technical knowledge and his ability to communicate complex ideas through simple conversations and clear drawings.
Mr Sreshth has employed his design stance on a wide range of project types including new high-rises, retrofits, renovations, seismic evaluations, and nonlinear studies. Many of his projects contain high levels of architectural interest, complex existing conditions, and challenging construction logistics.
A. Singh, MS P.E, Associate
After pivoting towards structural drafting in 2006, Mr Singh found his calling as a structural engineer. Mr Singh’s ties to his roots as a drafter show through in his passion for high-quality graphical communication and the clear presentation of design information.
In teams, he brings to the table an emphasis on multidisciplinary cooperation and thoughtful consideration for constructability. He is well-versed in site-built methods as well as factory-built modularized structures. Mr Singh has supported the integration of off-site and on-site construction and lifting, packing, and shipping schemes for multiple flat-packed and volumized modular systems in both wood and steel structures.
T. Callaghan, PhD, S.E., Technical Director
Meet Callaghan, our seasoned Structural Engineer with over 20 years of experience in commercial and residential projects. From building new structures to revamping existing ones, Callaghan’s expertise covers it all.
He’s not only a skilled communicator, ensuring smooth collaboration among architects, builders, and clients, but also dedicates time to mentoring junior engineers. Beyond work, he enjoys savoring Italian cuisine, catching up with friends over a beer, and occasionally embracing the thrill of skydiving.
G. Foste, CE, CAD/BIM Director
With a long history of experience in the industry, Mr Foste developed his CAD expertise prior to joining ACE and was a welcome addition to the Oakland office in 2019. He supports ACE’s CAD and engineering staff in the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software on a wide variety of projects for multiple offices.
Foste is very handy and likes to dive into do-it-yourself projects around the house. When it comes to food, he dabbles in BBQ and likes to experiment with smoked meats. He also enjoys fishing, camping, and just about anything his grandkids want to do.
