We are looking for a Structural Engineer who enjoys solving real building problems — someone who wants to see their calculations become buildings, and who values clear communication with architects and contractors as much as technical rigor.
Responsibilities
- Structural analysis and design
- Structural calculations
- Structural drawings
- Design of wood, steel, concrete, and masonry systems
- Coordination with architects and contractors
- Building department responses
- Structural field observations
- Construction-phase coordination
- Engineering documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Familiarity with California building codes
- Structural analysis and design experience
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics
- Experience with applicable structural engineering software
- Excellent technical communication skills
- EIT or PE preferred as appropriate for the position
