ACE Dezign served as the Structural Engineer of Record (EOR) for the steel fabricator, providing value engineering for the lateral force-resisting system, steel connections, and stairs. This three-story multipurpose building in Sacramento, CA, was designed for high seismic demands and features steel Special Concentrically Braced Frames (SCBF) supported by driven timber piles and concrete pile caps.
